Project Description

The construction of a concrete landing jetty with a waiting shed at Cable Point Market Waterfront in Oshimili South Local Government Area, by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at improving waterfront transportation infrastructure and providing a safe and functional facility for passengers and users of the market waterfront.
The project will enhance the safe boarding and disembarkation of passengers and goods, provide shelter and comfort for commuters while waiting, improve access to the waterfront market, support fishing and commercial activities, enhance connectivity within riverine communities, and contribute to local economic development and improved living conditions in Oshimili South Local Government Area.
