Project Description

The Construction of Imoniyame Extension Road, Off Iwhrekpokpor Road in Ughelli North Local Government Area, by the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, in this and beyond, is aimed at improving intra-community road connectivity and enhancing accessibility within the area. The project involves 1,968m length, 10m/9m formation width, 7.3m/6.5m pavement width, 3,936m drains and 733m discharge drain. The scope of works of the road includes removal of topsoil and unsuitable materials, sharp sand fill, crushed stone base, concrete works consisting of construction of drains, culverts, access slabs; pavement surfacing consisting of binder and wearing courses and thermoplastinc road markings.

This intervention is expected to promote economic activities, improve access to social services, and enhance the overall living conditions of residents. It also contributes to sustainable infrastructural development and urban expansion within Ughelli North and beyond.
