COMPLETION OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF BULU-ANGIAMA ROAD, OFF UGHELLI/PATANI EXPRESSWAY JUNCTION, PATANI LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA.

The project involves the completion of the Bulu-Angiama Road, located off the Ughelli–Patani Expressway junction in Patani Local Government Area. The objective is to finalize the construction works required to make the road fully functional, durable, and safe for vehicular and pedestrian use. Length of road 5,100m, length of overlay, 2,700m, pavement width, 7.3m & 9.2m and length of drains 7,600m. The scope of for the 5,100m length of road includes site clearance and earthworks comprising of scarification, removal of topsoil and unsuitable materials, sharp river sand fill, sand/cement stabilization, laying of crushed stone base course; concrete works comprising of drains, culverts, access slabs, pavement surfacing consisting of two layers of Hot Rolled Asphalt (HRA) and thermoplastic road marking.

Upon completion, the road will significantly enhance connectivity between Bulu-Angiama and neighboring communities, facilitating easier movement of people, goods, and services. It will reduce travel time, improve access to markets, healthcare, and educational facilities, and support socio-economic development in the area. Ultimately, the project will contribute to improving living standards and promoting sustainable development within the local government area.
