Project Description

The installation of solar-powered streetlights from Owa-Oyibu to Abavo across Ika North-East and Ika South Local Government Areas is aimed at improving public lighting and road safety along the corridor. The project will enhance nighttime visibility, improve security for motorists, pedestrians and residents, support commercial activities, reduce dependence on conventional electricity, promote renewable energy use, and contribute to improved connectivity, safety, and sustainable development in the benefiting communities.
