Project Description

The rehabilitation and asphalt overlay of Efejuku Road, off Deco Road, in Warri South Local Government Area, by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at improving the condition, durability, and safety of the road infrastructure within the area. The project involves 384m length, 7.3m average pavement width and 768m total length of drain. The scope of the 384m length of road includes earthworks comprising the removal of unsuitable materials, filling with sharp sand and laying of stone base; concrete works comprising concrete drains and slabs. It also involves asphalt works of two layers of Hot Roll Asphalt comprising binder course and wearing course.
The project will provide an improved and durable road surface, facilitate smoother vehicular and pedestrian movement, reduce travel difficulties and transportation costs, enhance access to residential and commercial areas, improve road safety, support local economic activities, and contribute to sustainable urban infrastructure development in Warri South Local Government Area.
