Project Description

The construction and maintenance of roads within Osubi, Okuokoko, and environs in Okpe Local Government Area, by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at improving the road network, accessibility, and connectivity within the benefiting communities. The scope of work for the road includes site clearance, removal of top soil and unsuitable materials, scarification of failed bituminous surfaces, sand filling, soil cement stabilized sub-base, crush stone base course and pavement surfacing consisting of two layers of Hot Rolled Asphalt (HRA) and thermoplastic road marking.
The project will improve road conditions, facilitate the movement of residents and goods, enhance access to homes, businesses, markets, schools, healthcare facilities and other essential services, reduce transportation difficulties and costs, improve road safety, support local economic activities, and contribute to sustainable infrastructure development in Okpe Local Government Area.
