Project Description

The engagement of a consultant for the Office of the Accountant-General on the implementation of new tax laws and support towards tax deductions, remittance transparency and engagement strategies, by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at strengthening the State’s capacity to effectively implement and comply with emerging tax requirements. The engagement will provide technical and professional support for accurate tax deductions and timely remittances, improve transparency and accountability in tax-related financial processes, strengthen institutional capacity, and develop effective engagement strategies with relevant stakeholders. The project will ultimately support improved public financial management, regulatory compliance and efficient revenue administration in Delta State.
