Project Description

The project involves the construction of a discharge outfall drain starting from Frank Apuri Street, passing through the Primary Teachers' College (PTC), and extending to the Ughelli/Port-Harcourt Road. Additionally, the project includes the construction of access road alongside the drain. The scope of works includes earthworks and subgrade stabilization which comprises comprehensive site clearance, stripping and removal of organic topsoil, excavation of structurally unsuitable materials and backfillinf utilizing imported sharp sand fill.
By improving drainage and providing a reliable access road, the project aims to enhance local infrastructure, promote sanitation, reduce waterborne health hazards, and support mobility and economic activities in the community.
