REHABILITATION/CONSTRUCTION OF OKUVO/OKUOKOLO/MEREJE ROAD WITH 1.625M SPUR TO MEREJE-EKOKO ROAD OKPE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA

This project focuses on the rehabilitation and construction of the Okuvo/Okuokolo/Mereje Road, including a 1.625 km spur connecting to the Mereje-Ekoko Road in Okpe Local Government Area. The study aims to assess the current state of the roads, identify structural deficiencies, and recommend strategies for improvement to ensure durability, safety, and ease of mobility. The upgraded infrastructure is expected to facilitate efficient transportation for residents, enhance trade and economic activities, and reduce travel time and costs for commuters and local businesses.

Additionally, the project examines the broader socio-economic impact of road infrastructure on the local community. Improved road connectivity is anticipated to enhance access to markets, schools, and healthcare facilities, thereby contributing to overall community development. The findings of this study will provide policymakers, local government authorities, and stakeholders with evidence-based recommendations for sustainable road construction and maintenance, fostering long-term infrastructural development in Okpe LGA.
