Project Description

The construction of internal roads in Odimodi Community, Burutu Local Government Area, by the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at improving transportation, accessibility, and connectivity within the community. The project includes 2,450m total length of road, 10m average clearance width and 7.3m average pavement width. The scope of works for the road includes site clearing, demolition of non-functional drains and culverts, removal of topsoil and unsuitable materials, sharp river sand filling; concrete works includes construction of various sizes of culverts and drains; pavement surfacing comprising 150mm crushed stone base followed by two layers of Hot Rolled Asphalt.

The project is also expected to improve the living conditions of residents by enhancing access to markets, schools, and healthcare facilities while promoting sustainable community development in the area.
