Project Description

The construction of Tony Ebenuwa Street off Madonna College Road, Asaba, Oshimili South Local Government Area, by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at improving road infrastructure and accessibility within the area. The scope of works for the 470metres length of road includes site clearance, removal of topsoil, unsuitable materials and earth fill, concrete works consisting demolition of inadequate existing drains and construction of reinforced concrete access slabs; pavement structure consisting of crushed stone-base course topped with layers of Hot-Rolled Asphaltic binder and wearing course and ancillary works of thermoplastic road markings.
The project will provide a better and more durable road network, improve vehicular and pedestrian movement, facilitate access to homes, businesses and other community facilities, reduce transportation difficulties, and enhance connectivity within Asaba. It will also support local economic activities and contribute to improved urban development and the overall quality of life of residents.
